Excellent news! Make sure he grows up to be JUST LIKE YOU. At the rate the current [read: mine] generation is shaping up, we'll sorely need people who don't, youknow, suck.

But you're going to give him Batman to watch, so it's all good.

Hope your wife gets well soon, and hope you've stocked up on sleep to try and offset all the sleep you're soon to be missing.

Aaawwwww innnee cute.

Start the countdown: you still have 16 years left before he starts doing other cute things like leaving his brand-new cellphone in his jeans when he puts them in the wash. You can also start practising for his driving lessons, such as saying "DON'T RACE THE ENGINE!" and learning to Breathe Deeply.

From the little I know of C-sections (sharing a room with one) your wife should be full of bounce after a couple of days. My regards to her.

Awww, what a cute little guy! I'm all about the babies with hair - mine were both furballs too!

And don't worry, the hair on the shoulders will eventually fall out - you won't have a Sasquatch baby forever!

PS: As for the aforementioned gel pompadour, try using pure aloe vera gel (health food store) - that stuff will hold baby fluff like nothing else, and it's all natural, and he shouldn't be allergic to it, as opposed to slapping gronwup alcohol based crap on his scalp - little man doesn't need alcohol poisoning from his hair gel.

He's a beautiful baby!
